Denton FarmPark: Carolina Pickers Antique Festival: Sept. 11-13
By Davidson Local
The Carolina Pickers organization is once again transforming Denton FarmPark into a treasure hunter’s paradise with its highly anticipated antique festival. This event, held twice a year in the spring and fall, has become a staple for families and collectors. Anyone who enjoys a good old-fashioned day of browsing and bargain hunting Sept. 11-13.
Family Fun Under the Carolina Sun
With hundreds of antique vendors setting up shop, festival-goers can expect everything from primitive and barn-find furniture to antique bottles, jars, and advertising signs. Collectors will find plenty to love among vintage bicycles, farm and country décor, and even classic automobiles and parts. Simply put, if it’s old, unique, or tells a story, you’ll likely find it here.
The atmosphere is more than just shopping—it’s an experience. Visitors can enjoy live music, watch wood carving demonstrations, or take in the excitement of a live auction with Hathcock Auction. For families, Denton FarmPark’s own Handy Dandy Railroad will be in operation, offering train rides that have become a favorite tradition for kids and adults alike.
Food, Treats, and Sweet Rides
A festival isn’t complete without food, and this one delivers. Numerous food vendors will be serving up fair favorites and local specialties. Don’t miss a stop at Laramie’s Cakery, tucked inside the Gingerbread House, where freshly baked goods add the perfect sweet touch to the day. For those who prefer to roam the grounds without too much walking, golf cart rentals will be available.
