Davidson County in search of a missing 12 year old
MISSING PERSON INVESTIGATION-The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for a missing 12-year-old female juvenile. The missing person’s name is Zayona Yort, Hispanic female, 4 feet 11 inches in height and weight is 85 pounds. Yort will have black hair and brown eyes. Yort was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans with Croc shoes. She was last seen on April 8, 2026, at 2:30 a.m., at a residence on New Jersey Church Road, Lexington, North Carolina.
MISSING PERSON INVESTIGATION FOLLOW UP INFORMATION-Members of the Davidson County Sheriff's Office and Emergency Management have made a search of the general area and have not located the missing juvenile. We have followed up on multiple leads and tips during the investigation. The Davidson County Sheriff's Office will have multiple law enforcement units in the area continuing to search.
