Faith Alive Gospel Event to Benefit The Workshop of Davidson County

Music, fellowship, and community support will come together on Saturday, May 23, as a Faith Alive/Southern Gospel event brings local and regional gospel groups to Davidson County for an afternoon of inspiration and giving back.

The event will be held at Pilgrim Reformed Church, located at 797 Pilgrim Church Road, beginning at 3 p.m. and continuing rain or shine. Organizers say the gathering will directly benefit The Workshop of Davidson County, an organization that serves individuals with disabilities through employment and life skills programs.

The lineup features several well-known gospel groups, beginning with Old Friends Revival at 3 p.m., followed by New Journey Gospel Bluegrass at 4 p.m., and Shepherds Voice Trio at 5 p.m. The performances will showcase a blend of traditional southern gospel and bluegrass sounds, offering something for a wide range of music lovers.

Admission to the event is free, and attendees will also be treated to free hotdogs with all the fixings, along with drinks and desserts. Additional activities will include silent auctions and a 50/50 drawing, with proceeds supporting the cause.

Organizers encourage guests to bring lawn chairs and plan to stay for the full afternoon of music and fellowship. Alcohol will not be permitted at the event, and donations will be accepted to further support The Workshop of Davidson County’s mission.
