S.O.S. - Salvation Over Sin

Jan 14 2026, Americans realized how fragile our lifestyles actually can be. Phone after phone went into that dreaded SOS mode. No calls or texts in or out unless you were somewhere with WiFi. It basically left my family unreachable and disjointed. As the hours ticked by panic set in. The more I thought about it…..God always has service. No dropped calls or useless expensive devices. He requires no software updates and no specific operating system. He’s on the main line 24/7 with full service. He’s always accessible and always reachable. The disconnect happens because we choose not to call out to him. God literally has the answers to any problem and knows you better than you know yourself. I watched households completely fall apart over the loss of technology. But to be honest, we could ALL use less time being distracted by our phones. We need to replace that iPhone with our Bible. Yes, I realize there’s tons of Bible apps made specifically for your phone. Call me old school, but nothing replaces the feeling of holding that leather bound bible and turning through the pages of Jesus’ words and teachings. Remember one day the trumpet will sound. The last thing you’re going to be concerned about will be who do I need to text or call first. Worry more about connecting daily with Jesus and less about how good your phone signal is!!!

Jeremiah 33:3

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not
