United Cornerstone University announces 2026 Fall Session
United Cornerstone University (UCU) announces its 2026 Fall Session will begin Saturday, October 3, through Thursday, November 24, 2026.
Classes will be held online through Google Classroom on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The university was designed for bi-vocational clergy and laypersons.
UCU is dual accredited, with headquarters at Citadel of Faith Christian Fellowship, 108 Salem Street, Thomasville, NC 27360. Courses last eight weeks and are offered four times per year.
The Fall Quarter will include the following courses:
The Gospels — BIB 1100
Saturdays, 10 a.m. to noon
Students will learn how the Greeks, Romans and Jews influenced the writing of the New Testament. The course will also include a study of the four Gospels by harmonizing their message to develop a single view of Jesus’ life and the work of the apostles.
Contemporary World Religions — MIN 2000
Saturdays, 1 to 3 p.m.
This course introduces the world’s major religious traditions. Topics include Primal religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Upon completion, students should be able to identify the origins, history, beliefs and practices of the religions studied.
Principles of Church Administration — CBS 1000
Tuesdays, 7 to 9 p.m.
This course is a study of how auxiliaries, ministries and local churches operate, including consideration of how a church can use ministries in fulfilling the Lord’s Commission.
Contemporary Hermeneutics — PRCH 4200
Thursdays, 7 to 9 p.m.
This course introduces students to the principles of general hermeneutics and its impact on biblical exegesis. It also studies the special character of scriptural writings, including revelation, sanctification and inspiration, and the development and use of historical-critical and other contemporary methods of biblical exegesis.
