At ‘The Hive’, Spirit week allowed participants a chance to showcase their pride and spirit via various themed days such as Nerds vs. Jocks, Twin Day and Throwback Thursday.

Friday afternoon, students and staff gathered in Philpott Memorial Stadium for a pep rally. Highlights included a battle to find out which class could be the loudest (the seniors won), a three-legged race, performances by the cheerleaders and band and the crowning of the Homecoming King and Prince.

Under the lights, the Yellow Jackets emerged victorious on the gridiron - the first on their new astroturf field with a 19-12 victory over the South Davidson Wildcats. The win snapped a 29 game losing streak for LSHS.

Bopha Theang was crowed Homecoming Queen. Jadiyah Peoples was named Homecoming Princess.
