A Preserving Dunbar Photo Gallery: Alumni and former staff honored at LSHS game

On Tuesday evening, February 1, Dunbar 4th St. and Dunbar High School alumni and former staff were recognized during the halftime of Lexington Senior High School’s (LSHS) boys basketball game against West Davidson. The idea to kickoff Black History Month honoring the history of the school that educated Black students during segregation was the idea of Rev. Dr. Arnetta Beverly, LSHS Athletic Director Ronnie Beverly, Bobby Wagner and Ishia Craven. Stay tuned to Davidson Local for more articles and photos about the Dunbar legacy during Black History Month.
