Anything For Our Youth Group to host Halloween Party

The annual Halloween Safe Alternative Youth Party festivities is hosted by Anything For Our Youth Group & American Legion Post #255 (Lexington, NC). This event is intended to provide a safe environment for youth, as well as parents who want their kids to dress up and enjoy Halloween, trick or treating, with safety in mind.

We are so excited to be back inside at the American Legion Post #255 (the Hut) located at 1 Arthur Drive, Lexington, NC to host this event. Due to the past two years of Covid 19 we had to halt the annual event, said Tina Royal, Executive Director of Anything For Our Youth Group nonprofit organization.

Halloween is coming! We are getting ready to host our Annual Halloween "FEStivities" for all youth in our community and surrounding. Our vision is to bridge the gap between our youth and our Veterans, by hosting and partnering with the Post #255 American Legion, Royal stated.

This is going to be a fun, family, and community event. There will be free candy, snacks, food by Michael Evans, Owner/Operator of Hotdog Heaven, music by DJ Royal-T, a costume contest, games, and lots of fun! Spread the word and let's get ready for a safe alternative to trick-o-treating, spooky fun night on Monday, October 31, 2022, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Youth of all ages and their family are welcome to attend this safe, free, fun event! We especially want to invite teenagers to come out, dress up, and help volunteer with the event by supporting and assisting a younger youth during the event! We want all youth of all ages to enjoy this fun event, Royal said.

We welcome organizations, church groups, social groups, or citizens to join us by volunteering to set up a Halloween themed decorated table at the event to give out candy and treats. To sign up to donate to this event, click the link for more information.
