Is Life Asking You to Change Directions?
Today’s T.E.A. is poured from the book Pack Light by Dr. Timogi
Has life ever shifted on you without warning? A relationship ended. A job changed. A season closed before you felt ready. Maybe that's happening for someone reading this right now. And if it is, I want you to know something, moving is not a punishment. Moving is always — always — for a positive reason, no matter what caused the move.
It’s time to move.
Movement is required at every major crossroads. Whether you are getting married or divorced, movement is necessary. Whether there is a birth or a death, movement is necessary. Whether there is a promotion or a demotion, movement is necessary. Life is not static. It is not meant to be rigid or fixed. Life, by its very nature, is movement, and so are you.
Don’t trip, take the trip.
What trips us up is the belief that moving means something went wrong. I want to reframe that perception entirely. When a space, a situation, or a relationship no longer meets your need — or when your needs have simply grown — moving is the natural and right response. Moving isn't a sign of failure. Embrace moving as evolution.
Pack light.
The key is not dragging everything from your last season into your next one. So if life is nudging you toward something new this morning, lean into it. Ask yourself what you need to take, what you need to learn, and what you need to leave at the door. Let moving become medicine or motivation as needed.
Ask your self “Is it time to move?” or tell yourself “It’s time to move.”
