Omega Qmmunity Fest: Free Food, Games, and a Step Show to Lexington

The Brothers of the Eta Beta Beta chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated are throwing open the doors to the community with their first-ever "Omega Qmmunity Fest" — a free meet and greet event for the whole family.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, from 1 PM to 7 PM at the Breeden Insurance Amphitheater, 333 S. Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292.

The event is free and open to the public, with free food, games, music, and a step show all on the schedule. It's a chance for residents to meet the Omega men in Lexington and see firsthand what the chapter is all about.

Known for their signature "Q" step, a hallmark of Omega Psi Phi stepping tradition, the Brothers promise a high-energy performance that's become a crowd favorite at fraternity events nationwide.

According to Darrell Lewis, "The purpose for this event is to strengthen the fraternity's relationship with the community while creating opportunities for fellowship, networking, service, and mentorship."

As the first event of its kind for the chapter, organizers are hopeful it'll become a regular fixture in Lexington, deepening ties between the fraternity and the neighbors they serve.
