Lexington Farmers Market to collect donations for house fire victims

Lexington Farmers Market to collect donations for house fire victims

This weekend, the Lexington Farmers Market will be collecting donations for Pam and Ted Schoonmaker, who own and operate Papa Ted's Woodshop. The couple lost their home earlier this month in a house fire. Best known for their hand carved bowls made from locally sourced wood, Ted and Pam have been staples at the Lexington Farmers Market for the last 4 years.

Donations will be collected at the info table (located at the corner closest to S. Railroad St. and E. 2nd Ave). All money will go directly to Pam and Ted. Anything you can offer - no matter how small -  is greatly appreciated.

Some vendors, including Hidden Trail Tea Co. and Knit One Crochet Two, are both donating a portion of their sales from this Saturday's market.
