Davidson County Parks and Recreation Hosts Free Fall Festival, Saturday
Davidson County Parks and Recreation is inviting families to an afternoon of free seasonal fun at its 2026 Fall Festival this Saturday, Oct. 17, from noon to 3 p.m.
The festival will be held at 555-D West Center Street Extension in Lexington, on the back of the property beside the playground. Admission and activities are free.
Inflatables, Trunk or Treat and plenty of candy
Organizers have lined up a full slate of activities for children of all ages. Kids can bounce on inflatables, collect goodies during a Trunk or Treat, and stop by a temporary tattoo station.
Family-friendly games and activities will run throughout the afternoon, and organizers promise tons of free candy to go around.
Hot dogs and a sensory-friendly space
Yank's Franks Food Truck will be on-site selling hot dogs, so festival-goers are encouraged to come hungry.
Smart Start of Davidson County will join the event as a special guest, hosting a sensory-friendly room. The space offers a calmer option for children and families who may find crowds and noise overwhelming.
