PRESS RELEASE: Siceloff Announces New Dental Horror Novel
Indie author and local dentist Daniel Siceloff announces the release of his newest book, The Hygienist: Dental Horror. Written in a Hitchcockian-style and inspired by 15 years of practicing dentistry in Welcome, NC, this is the author’s first novel in both the horror and dental genres.
Siceloff published his first book Yuri And The Dragon Key in 2021. He then continued his young adult science fiction series The Kon’s Wrath Saga with the release of Savage Savior in 2022 and Jupiter Rises in 2024.
The author is also known for his “Finders Keepers” books. Clues left on Instagram allow readers to hunt for these books hidden in destinations around the world. Previous locations have included: the Florida Keys; Tulum, Mexico; Big Sky, Montana; London, England; Paris, France; Edinburgh, Scotland; the Nile River, Egypt; Zermatt, Switzerland; Hong Kong, China; Tokyo, Japan; and the Serengeti, Tanzania.
The Hygienist: Dental Horror is edited by Daniel Robert Broder, a senior gameplay programmer for Fortnite by Epic Games.
The cover was designed by Zac Lunsford, who also designed Siceloff’s other four releases.
A pre-release signing event open to the public will take place at Jimmy’s Bar in Shoto’s Restaurant in Lexington on October 9, 2025 at 7pm.
The Hygienist: Dental Horror will be available for purchase at Dr. Daniel Siceloff’s dental office in Welcome on October 13. The Hygienist will be released on Amazon on October 28, 2025 and is available for pre-order.
