Dog Days of Summer Hit the Thomasville Farmers Market with Pups, Produce, and Plenty of Fun

Dog Days of Summer Hit the Thomasville Farmers Market with Pups, Produce, and Plenty of Fun

Press Release: Calling all dogs! Wait...what? Dogs?

Come join us at the market tomorrow from 8am-12pm! We have an AMAZING lineup of vendors, visitors and activities for the kids!

That's right! We want you and your (leashed) canine best friend to join us at the market tomorrow! Artist Evan Edwards, who specializes in pet portraits, will be at the market with us from 8am-12pm! What a treat!

Speaking of treat...bring your pupper to visit us at our table...we will have Snausages for them! We'd like to snap a photo of your doggo to feature on our social media pages!

In addition to our AMAZING produce vendors, we will also have vendors selling outdoor plants, gorgeous cut flowers, crafts and uniquely crafted spa items!

We would love for our young market visitors to visit our table to participate in the Eat The Rainbow program, where they will receive $3 (free) Rainbow Bucks to buy fresh produce from our vendors! It's a great way to encourage kiddos to try new veggies and meet the farmers who grow them!

Did you know that August 2nd is National Sunflower Day? We will have dried sunflower heads at our table for kiddos to take home and hang up to feed their feathered friends! (Availability while supplies last.) There will also be a brief demo for youngsters to learn how to harvest seeds from a sunflower head once it's done blooming so they can plant their own sunflowers next year!

For the grown-ups, we will have a scrumptious printed recipe for a Farmers Market Wellness Bowl, for which many of the ingredients can be sourced right there at the market! Since August is National Wellness Month, we thought we would kick it off with fresh, healthy farmers market fare!

There will be something for everyone at the market tomorrow! We look forward to seeing you, your littles and your dogs at the market!
