Thomasville, NC – A major collaborative event aimed at supporting the city's growing number of Latino entrepreneurs is set for Monday, October 27, 2025. Attendees should arrive right at 5:30 PM to begin the vital informational meeting, titled "¡Empodera Tu Negocio!" (Empower Your Business!), hosted by the Thomasville Chamber of Commerce at its location (941 Randolph St.).
The event is being organized by Empowerment Bridges & PawPal Place and is a direct outreach effort to ensure Thomasville’s Hispanic business owners can access available support. The meeting's timing is intentionally set during Hispanic Heritage Month.
Essential Benefits and Key Partners
The special "Charla Informativa" (Informational Talk) will focus on the concrete advantages of Chamber membership and how to effectively access resources for business growth. The event is bolstered by support from several key organizations, including the Small Business Center (SBC) at Davidson-Davie Community College. The SBC offers invaluable support, including free counseling, workshops, and resources to help new and existing businesses launch and thrive.

A Community Collaboration
This event is a true community effort, supported by multiple organizations dedicated to local success.

Additionally, Atalia Cardenas serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of the LADC and teaches the popular Career Boost/Job Skills classes, making her a vital link to the community.
While Empowerment Bridges & PawPal Place are the main organizers, the Thomasville Chamber of Commerce is hosting and sponsoring the meeting. Other supporters include Thomasville Go and the SBC, all working together to foster an environment where all businesses in Thomasville can succeed.
