Thomasville Christmas Parade Returns December 13th at 11:00 AM with Festive Floats, Local Performers and Holiday Magic
THOMASVILLE, NC — The Thomasville Tourism Commission is excited to announce the return of the annual Thomasville Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM, bringing holiday cheer, community pride, and one of the region’s most beloved traditions to Downtown Thomasville.
Hosted by the Thomasville Tourism Commission, this year’s parade will feature Sophia Kellstrom, Miss Davidson County, who recently won Miss North Carolina and will be moving on to compete in Miss America, as the Grand Marshal. There will also be 6 marching bands, several dance teams, civic organizations, classic cars, first responders, beautifully decorated floats, and, of course, a special appearance by Santa Claus himself.
“We’re thrilled to showcase the creativity, talent, and holiday spirit of our local businesses and organizations” said Cameron Marsden, Director of Thomasville Tourism Commission.
Pre-Parade Festivities: 9:30–11:30 AM at the Historic Depot
Before the parade begins, families are invited to enjoy free holiday entertainment at the Thomasville Visitors Center and Historic Depot. Activities include:
Meet-and-Greet with The Grinch
Stilt Walker Performances
Traditional Victorian Carolers strolling and singing
Free Face Painting and Balloon Animals for children in the Depot
“These pre-parade activities are our way of adding a little extra magic to an already special day,” said Cameron Marsden, Director Thomasville Tourism. “The Tourism Commission is grateful to our sponsors who make it possible for families to make memories downtown without having to spend money. We encourage everyone to stay after the parade is over and explore our amazing downtown shops, and dine at our local restaurants. Many shops and restaurants have specials and extended hours for the holidays. Folks are encouraged to stay for the ‘Star of Bethlehem’ event at Memorial United Methodist Church Saturday night where there will be a drive through nativity with live animals, including camels. Come and experience all that Thomasville has to offer during the holidays.”
The parade will travel through Downtown Thomasville heading west along Main Street. The Thomasville Tourism Commission invites everyone to attend this free, family-friendly event and experience the wonder of Christmas in Thomasville.
Thank you to Cookout, Old Dominion, Bartimaeus by Design, Novant for sponsoring the Parade, and to the City of Thomasville for all of their assistance in executing such a magical event for our City.
