Hospice of Davidson County will hold its 18th Annual Ride for Angels

Hospice of Davidson County (HODC) will host its 18th Annual Ride for Angels motorcycle fundraising event from Denton Farm Park on Saturday, July 19th with registration check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. Early registration is now available at a discounted rate through July 18th with day of registration offered through 9:30 a.m. Pre-registration is not required but strongly encouraged.

“As we celebrate 40 years of caring for our community, we are equally excited to host our 18th annual motorcycle ride – a special event where stories are shared, memories are honored, and the community rides together” shared Ashley Milam, HODC Marketing Manager.

The annual Ride has become the Agency’s largest community engagement event with, on average, over 300 riders participating.

To support the annual charity ride, one may purchase a memorial listing for display on the commemorative t-shirt. Names are displayed on the back of the t-shirt and are limited in number. Listings must be purchased by June 28th to ensure inclusion on the t-shirt.
Additional corporate and community partnership packages are available. The Title Sponsor includes ten complimentary rider registrations and extensive publicity opportunities both before and during the event. The Throttle Sponsor tier includes five complimentary rider registrations and promotional visibility. Other sponsorship opportunities include Kickstand Sponsor, Cruise Control Sponsor, Coffee; Chrome Sponsor, and more.

Funds raised are allocated for patient care and supportive resources for families navigating serious illness. Last year, alone, HODC provided over $483,000 in charity care.

Since the Agency’s inception, the organization has not wavered from its commitment to provide care for the those with serious illness regardless of one’s ability to pay.
