2nd Annual Thomasville Santa Crawl Set to Bring Festive Energy Downtown on December 13th
Thomasville will kick off a lively night of holiday spirit on Friday, December 13th, as the 2nd Annual Thomasville Santa Crawl returns to downtown. The event begins at 6:00 PM at Trax Tavern and moves through four local bars and restaurants, each hosting a designated time slot for crawlers. The schedule includes Trax Tavern (6:00–7:30 PM), The Alibi (7:30–8:30 PM), Average Joe’s (8:30–9:30 PM), and Tres Amigos (9:30–10:30 PM).
Organizers say this year’s crawl is about celebrating the season, boosting local businesses, and supporting a good cause. Attendees are encouraged to arrive in full holiday costumes, Santa suits, elves, reindeer, or any creative Christmas attire. A prize will be awarded for the best costume, and each stop will offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere for the crawlers as they move together through the evening.
The event also includes a charitable component. Donation buckets benefiting Tilly’s Place, a local animal rescue, will be available at each venue for guests who wish to contribute.
“We’re expecting a strong turnout this year,” said organizer and press contact Carl Bjerke, noting that dozens of participants have already committed, with more expected to join leading up to the event.
There is no admission fee for the Santa Crawl. Participants must be 21 or older and in costume. Organizers emphasize that while the event is spirited and social, attendees should remain respectful and help showcase the best of Thomasville’s community pride.
Bjerke adds: “The Santa Crawl is all about Thomasville showing up. Supporting our local businesses, bringing the holiday energy, and showing what this community is made of.”
