Hospice of Davidson County Announces 2026 Signature Event: “From Heritage to Horizon” Featuring Celebrity Chef T

LEXINGTON, NC (May 7, 2026) — Hospice of Davidson County invites the community to an evening of elegance and purpose at its 2026 signature event, From Heritage to Horizon: Honoring our Past, Toasting our Present, and Cultivating our Future, to be held June 13, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the scenic and historic Curran Alexander Vineyards.

The event promises an elevated experience featuring Celebrity Chef T, widely recognized for her standout appearances on Food Network’s Hell’s Kitchen, NBC’s Yes Chef!, and the currently airing Beat Bobby Flay. Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated menu paired with the live jazz ensemble Federico Pivetta Jazz Trio and Curran Alexander wines. The evening will also feature both live and silent auctions, providing attendees with unique opportunities to support the mission of local care.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Grief & Bereavement Counseling Center. These funds will support expanded services and dedicated healing spaces, ensuring that individuals and families in the community continue to have access to vital support during their most challenging times.

Exclusive Experiences

VIP Experience (5:00 p.m.):
A limited number of VIP reservations are available for those seeking a more intimate start to the evening. This includes early entry, a private gathering with small bites and a presentation by Celebrity Chef T, as well as a private signing of her book, Paradigm: A Macro Manifesto to Food. Each VIP couple will receive one complimentary book.

Host Opportunities:
Guests looking to deepen their impact can participate as event hosts. Host packages include premium VIP experiences, reserved seating, and special recognition throughout the evening.

Preorder Special:
In addition to the evening’s festivities, supporters can preorder bottles of an exclusive private-label Cabernet Sauvignon for $40. All proceeds benefit Hospice of Davidson County, and bottles will be available for pickup at the Hospice administrative offices following the event.

About Celebrity Chef Torrece “Chef T” Gregoire

Chef Torrece “Chef T” Gregoire is a celebrated chef, restaurateur, and media personality known for her bold culinary style and dynamic kitchen leadership. Gregoire is chef-owner of her Bristol, Virginia-based restaurant, Union 41.

Before that, the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts graduate was director of culinary operations at Draper Mercantile, based in Pulaski County, and served as executive chef at Radford University.

Recognized for combining refined technique with resilience under pressure, Chef T has earned international acclaim through her performances on several of the industry’s most competitive stages. Chef T first gained widespread recognition as a standout contestant during two seasons of Hell’s Kitchen. She further solidified her reputation as a finalist on Big Restaurant Bet in 2022.

Her television presence continues with appearances on NBC’s Yes, Chef! in 2025 and Beat Bobby Flay in 2026. Beyond her media work, Chef T remains a fixture in the culinary industry through her innovative approach to modern cuisine and commitment to hospitality excellence.
