Survey: Davidson County Seeks Community Input for Aging Needs Assessment

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. – The Davidson County Planning Committee for Aging Services is asking residents to help shape the future of aging in Davidson County by participating in the Aging Needs Assessment Survey.

The survey is open to adults age 18 and older, including older adults, caregivers, family members, service providers, and anyone interested in the needs of Davidson County’s aging population. The information gathered will help identify current and future needs, service gaps, and community priorities and will guide the development of a comprehensive Aging Plan for Davidson County Senior Services and The Life Center of Davidson County.

“As our older adult population continues to grow, it is important that we hear directly from the people in our community,” said Thessia Everhart-Roberts, Director of Davidson County Senior Services. “We want to know what is working, where needs exist, and what resources will be most important in the years ahead.”

Community participation is essential to ensuring the Aging Plan reflects the needs and experiences of residents throughout Davidson County. Senior Services encourages everyone to complete the survey and share it with friends, family members, coworkers, and caregivers.

The survey can be completed online at tinyurl.com/DCAgingSurvey or by scanning the QR code. Paper copies are also available at Davidson County Senior Services offices in Lexington at 555-B West Center Street Ext. and Thomasville at 211 West Colonial Dr., Suite 109.

Your voice matters. Help us shape the future of aging in Davidson County.
