We’re planning for a great turnout at the Give Work A Chance Job Fair on August 24th. We will have many opportunities of different education and skill levels, ranging from entry-level roles requiring no previous experience, to jobs that require a degree and experience.
The Ackland Family is putting on a memorial charity event for Roy Ackland, on Saturday, October 7th from 10am to 6pm at the Denton FarmPark in Denton, NC.

The J. Smith Young YMCA has received $2,700 from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation to help feed local neighbors in their time of need. The J. Smith Young YMCA will use the gift to provide healthy snacks to our After School and Summer Camp children.
