Lexington School board talks turf, facilitates, renovations

Decisions regarding facilities, including a review of a more than $750,000-plus plan to replace the district’s football field with synthetic turf, dominated the Lexington School Board meeting on Tuesday night. The Lexington City Board of Education held its regular monthly meeting at the Lexington Middle School Media Center to discuss technology, renovations, rebuilding and drainage issues.

Column: Friday "Knight" Lights Football Camp

Friday evening, June 30th, 2021 local youth and many future black knight hopefuls, kindergarten through eighth grade showed up to Palmer Field, at North Davidson High School for the annual, “Friday Knight Lights” football combine. The combine began at promptly 7:30 PM and concluded around 9:30 PM.
