In Davidson County, students haven’t had a normal school schedule since March 2020, and even then we didn’t go back to school for a few months. This took a mental toll on students and lowered motivation and interest in school. Mental health issues have been increasing, especially in students who sit on Zoom all day.”

Ribbon Cutting for Boones Cave Park
The Davidson County Board of Commissioners held a ribbon cutting at Boones Cave Park in Lexington. Along with members of the Board of Commissioners, there were many representatives from the Davidson County Parks and Recreation Commission and County Management Staff in attendance at the ribbon cutting.
