15 year-old-shot in Southmont area, alleged shooter attempted hospital transport
On April 27, 2022, the Davidson County 911 center received a report of a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound being transported to the hospital by Ryan Joseph Peace. At the direction of the 911 operator Peace pulled over and meet with Davidson County EMS and law enforcement at Jersey Church Rd. and Hwy 8 just south of Lexington. The juvenile was found to have multiple wounds from what appeared to be pellets from a shotgun.
Thomasville community supports Black Business Expo
Businesses from across North and South Carolina will fill Thomasville’s Farmers Market and Pace Park Amphitheater on Saturday, June 18 for the second Black Business Expo.
