On Sunday, October 2, 2022, a motorcycle was traveling North on South Main Street at a high rate of speed. A Lexington Police Officer began to initiate a traffic stop as the motorcyclist failed to stop for a red light at Second Avenue and struck a vehicle crossing the intersection.
