Transformation Church NC may have only opened its doors three months ago, but this weekend, the congregation is stepping out in a big way. On Saturday, June 28, the church will host its first major fundraiser—a day full of food, fellowship, and faith-driven action.

The goal: to raise funds to purchase the church building and property, and to support Pastor Andy Clarke, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy and unable to work.

From 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., the day kicks off with an all-you-can-eat breakfast. Later, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the church will serve up a spaghetti dinner that includes salad and a roll. Tickets are $10 per meal and are available presale or at the door. Dine in or take your meal to go—and yes, you can buy a ticket for each mealtime and enjoy both. There will also be bounce houses for kids during both meal times.

Shannon Woods, the church’s worship leader, said she feels blessed to be part of a church that loves the community the way they do. She is in prayer that they are able to raise the money needed to purchase the building.

Meanwhile, all the money made from the yard sale spots will be given to Pastor Andy and his family as he is struggling during this time due to his chemotherapy treatments and being out of work. The community yard sale will run throughout the day with spots available for $10 if you bring your own table or $20 if you need to rent one. Sellers keep their profits unless they feel led to donate more, but the table rental fees will go directly to Pastor Andy and his family needs.

There will also be a bake sale and a lemonade stand, with proceeds benefiting Pastor Andy Clarke and his family. Anyone interested in baking something for the sale is encouraged to contact the church.

Danielle Clodfelter, Director of Outreach, shared how proud she is of how everyone has come together for the church and for their pastor. She expressed deep love for her Transformation family.

Rodney Thornburg, the church’s vice president, reflected on the power of collective support and compassion. He said it’s humbling to witness and be part of something greater than themselves, acknowledging that God doesn’t need us—He wants us.

The event is open to the public, and organizers are encouraging friends, family, and neighbors to come out and make the day count. The church also extends deep thanks for the prayers and support for Pastor Andy Clarke.

Transformation Church’s first big event is more than a fundraiser—it’s a show of love, faith, and what a united community can do in service to one another.
