Arts Davidson County Invites Community to Experience the Story Behind the Music at An Evening of Jazz
As anticipation builds for An Evening of Jazz on Friday, Aug. 7, Arts Davidson County is shining a spotlight on award-winning Lexington native DaiTrell through a featured podcast conversation that offers listeners an intimate look at the experiences, challenges and inspiration that continue to shape his music.
Presented by the Ebony Community Collective in partnership with Arts Davidson County, An Evening of Jazz is more than a concert. It is a celebration of creativity, community and the artists whose voices continue to inspire audiences across Davidson County and beyond.
The featured podcast gives audiences an opportunity to hear directly from DaiTrell before he takes the stage. Throughout the conversation, he reflects on his musical journey, the lessons learned along the way and the importance of remaining authentic while pursuing his passion. It is a thoughtful conversation that adds another layer to the live performance audiences will experience Friday evening.

The evening begins with a VIP Reception for Platinum and Gold sponsors at 5:30 p.m. Doors open to the public at 6 p.m. at Arts Davidson County, 202 North Main Street in Uptown Lexington. Tickets are $40 and include food.
