JLD Community Solutions to Host Supportive Services for Families Impacted by Violence

JLD Community Solutions to Host Supportive Services for Families Impacted by Violence

LD Community Solutions, in partnership with the North Carolina Victims Assistance Network (NCVAN), is proud to announce the launch of the JLD Community Support Circle, a new support group dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space for individuals and families in Lexington who have lost loved ones to gun violence.

Rooted in healing, connection, and collective strength, the JLD Community Support Circle welcomes participants who are ready to share, listen, or simply be present. The group reminds participants that they are not alone on their journey toward healing and restoration.

“Our goal is to help community members move from pain toward purpose, surrounded by others who understand what they’re going through,” said JLD Community Solutions Founder & President, Angela McDuffie. “Healing begins when we come together — and this circle provides the space to do just that.”

Registration is required for each meeting to ensure the group can plan for the number of expected participants. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 10 participants per session, and all information shared is kept strictly confidential. Attendees must be 18 years or older.

Please share this information with anyone in the Lexington community you feel may benefit from this support group.

The support circle will meet:

2nd Monday of each month beginning November 10th

6:00 - 7:30 PM

Location: Davidson County Public Library | 602 S Main St, Lexington, NC Meals are provided.

*Each session will be facilitated by licensed Peer Support Specialist, Alphonso Thomas of CHAMP Wellness, who brings lived experience and professional expertise in guiding participants through healing conversations and community connection.
