Chef John Wilson to provide demonstrations at The Lexington Farmers Market

Meet Chef John – The Culinary Heart Behind Sophie’s Cork & Ale

Since opening in July 2016, Sophie’s Cork & Ale has become a staple in Uptown Lexington—a cozy, welcoming space built on a love for fresh food, fine wine, and craft beer.

After moving to the area, John Wilson saw the potential in Lexington’s growing food scene. With years of experience in some of the Triad’s top restaurants, he launched Sophie’s to offer elevated menus, curated drink selections, and unforgettable beer and wine dinners that locals have come to love.

Catch Chef John live at the Farmers Market this Saturday at 10 AM!

He’ll be doing a live cooking demo featuring Beef and Pork cuts from @Klymer Ridge Farm and a variety of fresh, seasonal veggies straight from the market.

This is a perfect chance to see a pro in action and get inspired by local ingredients you can take home that day! Come say hello, watch the demo, and discover what makes Sophie’s (and Chef John) a true part of the community!
