“All You Need Is Less” Community Yard Sale Creates Space for Families to Downsize
LEXINGTON, N.C. — Families looking to clean out closets, downsize, and connect with the community now have a new monthly opportunity in Lexington.
The “All You Need Is Less” Community Yard Sale will take place Saturday, May 23, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 501 Cotton Grove Road in Lexington. The event is designed to give residents a place to sell unwanted items, find affordable treasures, and reduce clutter while supporting a community atmosphere.
According to organizer Michael Evans, the event is expected to become a monthly gathering aimed at helping families simplify while also creating opportunities for neighbors to connect.
“We wanted to create something simple that brings people together while also helping families clear space and maybe make a little extra money,” Evans said. “Sometimes all you really need is less, and this gives people a chance to downsize, connect with neighbors, and keep useful items moving through the community instead of throwing them away.”
Vendor spaces are available for $10 and may include a table. Organizers say tables and chairs will also be available for participants during the event. $mossiah23.
The yard sale welcomes a variety of vendors and community members looking to participate in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.
