Law Enforcement Agencies Conduct Drug Arrest
LPD, DCSO and NCSBI Conduct Drug Arrest
Lexington, NC – August 27, 2025 – The Vice Narcotics Units of the Lexington Police
Department and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office worked in conjunction with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation recently on an investigation that led to the arrest of Kevin Maurice Hargrave, age 45, of Lexington.
The case culminated on Friday, August 22nd when detectives conducted a vehicle stop on Hargrave resulting in his arrest and the seizure of ten pounds of methamphetamine from the car.
Following the vehicle stop and arrest, detectives executed a search warrant at Hargrave’s residence located at 608 Price Road in Lexington.
During this search detectives seized one ounce of cocaine, eight grams of heroin, an AR-15 style rifle, and a handgun. Hargrave has been subsequently charged with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, manufacture/sell/deliver a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school, maintaining a dwelling and vehicle for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hargrave was held in the Davidson County Detention Center under a $1,100,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Lexington District Court on September 12th.
