73-Year-Old Man Allegedly Killed by Pack of Dogs
On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies responded to a residence in the Silver Valley Community, on Jeanette Lane, Thomasville, North Carolina, in reference to a death investigation.
Upon arrival, Deputies determined that the individual, a 73-year-old male, was deceased and beyond the possibility of life-saving intervention. Preliminary evidence at the scene indicated the individual had succumbed to injuries consistent with an attack by a large pack of canines.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division, in coordination with members of the Davidson County Animal Control Division, responded to the scene and initiated a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
