Mohamed Morsi, age 51, of Trinity, North Carolina made a purchase at Shuler Meats in a deceptive manner with a worthless check. An arrest warrant was obtained for Morsi, charging him with felony obtaining property by false pretenses and felony worthless check.

According to the department, “Many of these incidents involve unlocked vehicles or valuables left in plain sight.” Officials say the recent uptick has prompted an emphasis on preventive measures and community awareness.
On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies responded to a residence in the Silver Valley Community, on Jeanette Lane, Thomasville, North Carolina, in reference to a death investigation.
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Davidson County Sheriff’s Patrol deputies responded to an armed robbery at a Dollar General store.
On Monday, November 17, 2025, at approximately 2:07 p.m., LPD officers located a reported stolen vehicle being operated by two subjects and attempted to stop it. The driver of the stolen vehicle failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit.
A 78-year-old man has been arrested and charged with double homicide connected to an incident on Friday in northern Davidson County.
The Lexington Police Department has announced a third arrest connected to the June 7 shooting death of 19-year-old Xzavion Tyleal Booker.

According to investigators, Bunly was last seen at her residence the night of September 22, 2024, by her live-in boyfriend, Ricky Lam. The couple shared a home with their newborn child. Early evidence led detectives to believe that Bunly may have been harmed.

The man identified as a person of interest in the disappearance of Nancy Bunly in Lexington has been charged with murder of another missing woman in Guilford County.

On August 29, 2025, a search warrant was executed by members of the Invictus Task Force, and, as a result, Christopher John Tuft was taken into custody and charged with (1) count of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
According to detectives, a search of the residence turned up an open THC-P gummy package with one gummy left outside the bag. They also reported finding THC paraphernalia throughout the home that was accessible to children.
The victim died at the scene from his injuries. He has been identified as Omarion Scott, age 21, of Lexington.
