Man Accused of Shooting at Woman, Damaging Home
Davidson County NC-On June 14, 2026, Patrol Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office responded to 215 Adams Court, Winston Salem, regarding to a domestic assault. The responding Deputies made contact with the caller Jeffery Ludley who told them Brandon Lee Caudle, age 31 of Winston Salem had assaulted his girlfriend, and Caudle was at the home on Adams Court violently damaging the home and was shooting a firearm at her.
The Davidson County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team (SERT) responded to the scene and successfully took Brandon Caudle into custody without incident. Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at the location, seizing several firearms. As a result of the investigation, Caudle was arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping, assault by strangulation, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence and assault on a female. The Judicial Official set no bond for Caudle, and he was placed in the Davidson County Detention Center. Caudle is scheduled to appear in Davidson County District Court, on June 15, 2026.
