Davidson County man arrested for alleged domestic violence with intent to kill
DAVIDSON COUNTY-On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, deputies with the Patrol Division of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office responded to 300 Welcome Center Boulevard, Lexington, North Carolina, in relation to a domestic partner disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies located Teddrick Jawayne Parker Dubose, who had suffered multiple lacerations. Both subjects involved received medical treatment, and upon further investigation by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, Romeo Marquis-Deishon Haynes, age 30, was taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury, and misdemeanor domestic violence. Haynes appeared before the Davidson County Magistrate and was placed into the Davidson County Detention Center with no bond.
Later in the day, Teddrick Jawayne Parker Dubose, age 29, was arrested by deputies of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office after he stole the vehicle involved in the earlier incident from the domestic assault incident. The vehicle was recovered by deputies of the Sheriff’s Office in the area, and Dubose was arrested for larceny of a motor vehicle and assault with a deadly weapon. Dubose was taken before the Davidson County Magistrate, where a court date of February 9, 2026, was set, and a secured bond of $25,000.00 was issued. After appearing before the Magistrate, Dubose was placed into the Davidson County Detention Center.
