No Injuries Reported After Shooting at Vehicle in Davidson County, Suspect Arrested
Davidson County NC-On April 14, 2026, at 10:18 p.m., Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded to the area of Old US Highway 52, in reference to a shooting stemming from an argument that occurred at the Sheetz, located at 12290 N NC Highway 150.
During the course of the investigation, Detectives identified Nathan Lance Snyder, age 22, of Lexington as the suspect who shot at the victim’s vehicle striking a tire. No one was shot or injured during the incident. Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division with the assistance of the Lexington Police Department were able to apprehend Snyder at his residence, Lexington, and take him into custody.
Snyder was arrested and charged with felony shooting into an occupied property. Snyder was taken before the magistrate and received no bond, he is scheduled to appear in the Davidson County District Court, on April 16, 2026.
