Leash Up for Charity: The 1st Annual Santa Paws Stroll is Coming to Thomasville!
THOMASVILLE, NC—The holiday season in Davidson County is about to get a whole lot furrier! The Latino Association of Davidson County (LADC) is launching its first-ever Santa Paws Stroll—a festive 1-mile walk that brings community, holiday cheer, and four-legged friends together for a vital cause.
Mark your calendars for Friday, December 12th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the beautiful new Myers Dog Park (401 Mason Way). This inaugural event is not just a chance to enjoy a festive evening walk; it’s a crucial fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting the United Way of Davidson County Annual Campaign, supporting 24 local partner organizations.

The Santa Paws Stroll is a chance for Davidson County residents to showcase their holiday spirit—and their pets' most elaborate costumes! Treats will be available at special "Reindeer Stations" along the trail, culminating in an awards ceremony for a variety of hilarious and heartwarming contests:

LADC has set a fundraising goal of $1,000, and your participation is the key to reaching it. Registration is just $15 per participant and includes an exclusive dog bandana. Organizers strongly recommend pre-registering to guarantee your bandana!
