Masks optional at TCS starting Tuesday

Earlier this evening at a called meeting of the Thomasville City Schools Board of Education, the decision was made to begin optional masks/face coverings immediately. Optional masks/face coverings will begin for Thomasville City Schools staff, students and visitors in Thomasville City Schools buildings and facilities on February 22, 2022.

Please be aware that masks/face coverings are still required on all Thomasville City Schools school and activity buses, driver education vehicles, and other forms of district transportation.  In addition, guidelines for wearing a mask following quarantining due to symptoms or positive COVID 19 cases remain in effect.

Optional masks/face coverings means those who wish may continue to wear a mask/face covering, but there is no longer a requirement as of 2/22/2022.
