Fox and Olive is turning up the creativity again—this time with owner Shawn Bishop, the fabulous and eccentric talent behind one of the most beautiful stores in town. Known for his eye-catching style and fearless approach to décor, Bishop will lead a hands-on class that blends artistry, flavor, and florals in unexpected ways.

Participants will learn how to create a charcuterie board, work with fresh flowers, and decorate without ever reaching for a traditional vase. The $55 ticket covers all materials, and attendees will leave with both their finished creations and new ideas for home entertaining.

“The arrangement class is… actually just a teaching method,” Bishop explained. “We’re teaching people how to arrange flowers that are not in a container or box of sorts. The actual arrangement that we’re doing will be floating on a charcuterie board, and so I’m showing our students you don’t have to put it in a vase or in a box or a container—you can actually make something that just floats on the surface.”

The class takes place Thursday, August 21 at 6:15 p.m., and spots are already in demand. As with all Fox and Olive events, refreshments and light bites will be provided.

“Our classes fill up fast, so don’t wait,” organizers say. “Call the store to make your reservation.”
