Lexington Police Obtain Warrants in Jamaica Drive Domestic Assault
The Lexington Police Department responded to a domestic assault at a residence on Jamaica Drive at approximately 5:11 a.m. on May 29, 2026.
Investigators determined that an adult male assaulted a domestic partner, left the home, and later forced his way back inside and assaulted her again. During the assault, a person in the home intervened to stop it, and the male was stabbed. He is being treated at an area hospital.
The Lexington Police Department has obtained warrants for Christopher McLendon on charges of assault on a female, breaking and entering to terrorize, and second-degree trespassing. The warrants will be served once his medical treatment is complete.
Out of concern for the privacy and safety of those involved, no further identifying information is being released.
