Boots, Books & The Dryes Concert to Benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Davidson County

Davidson County, NC – Smart Start of Davidson County is excited to announce Boots, Books & The Dryes, a special fundraising concert featuring nationally recognized country music duo The Dryes. The event will raise funds and awareness for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, helping provide free books to young children throughout Davidson County.

The concert will bring together music lovers, community supporters, and literacy advocates for an evening of entertainment while supporting early childhood literacy. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a program that mails a free, age-appropriate book each month to enrolled children from birth to age five, helping build a foundation for lifelong learning and a love of reading.

"Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is one of the most impactful literacy programs available to families," said Andrea Coffman, Community Engagement Coordinator for Smart Start of Davidson County. "Every ticket purchased helps ensure local children have access to quality books in their homes and encourages families to read together from an early age."

Research shows that children who are regularly read to develop stronger language, literacy, and school-readiness skills. Through partnerships and community support, Smart Start of Davidson County works to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive and enter school prepared for success.

Attendees can enjoy a live performance by The Dryes while supporting a meaningful cause that benefits children and families across Davidson County.
