Standoff at home results in arrest for child abuse and fleeing
On August 11, 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force for the United States Marshals Service attempted to serve arrest warrants at a residence, at 1689 Old US Highway 52, Lexington, North Carolina, in Davidson County, for Jonathan V. Garcia, date of birth November 17, 1994. The arrest warrants were for felony probation violation, felony flee to elude arrest, drive with a revoked license, misdemeanor child abuse and possession of stolen goods. These arrest warrants were out of Forsyth County
Thomasville minors arrested, charged with assault and robbery
On Thursday, December 26, 2024, at approximately 2:27 p.m., officers responded to a robbery report in the 200 block of W. Main Street. A juvenile victim told police that he had been assaulted and robbed of his iPhone and watch.
Death Investigation leads to a Fentanyl related arrest in Massachusetts
On December 17, 2024, Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office transported Robert from the Norfolk County Jail in Massachusetts to the Davidson County Jail. Robert was given a secure bond and a court date of January 6, 2025.
