Salvation Army of Davidson County to hold World Day of Prayer gathering

The Salvation Army of Davidson County invites you to attend a community gathering for World Day of Prayer on March 01, 2024 at 11:00 AM.

The event will be held in Downtown Thomasville off of East Main Street at the fountain.

The Salvation Army invites community members from across Davidson County to join together to pray for greater peace and stronger unity across borders and cultural boundaries in the world.

The Salvation Army will be joined by other community leaders to take part in the program.

“World Day Of Prayer isn't about politics or denominations. It's about coming together as a community to pray for our leaders and for unity.  There are so many major concerns and needs that joining hands and hearts is just imperative”, said Major Whitney Morton, Corps Officer of The Salvation Army in Davidson County.
