Some people spend their whole lives searching for themselves. Traveling, experimenting, reinventing, rebranding. And while I understand the journey, this morning I want to offer you something different. Something that I believe with everything in me. You are not lost. You are disconnected. And those are two very different things.

This journey is not meant to redefine you. It is meant to reconnect you.

Who you are, your purpose, is in your roots. Day to day activity through the years allows your purpose to bloom. Some people reconnect later and become the best and brightest in their field because their purpose breath was always present. It conceived them. It was always there, waiting for them to come back home to it.

Knowing who you are will serve as a foundation for activating your purpose.

You will draw upon your core self, which is connected to your gifts, strengths, and talents, to bring your purpose to life. In moments where you need clarity or guidance, or when the winds of life attempt to take you off course, knowing who you are will keep you stable. If on some occasions as you travel this road you find yourself off course, knowing yourself will bring you back home.

Your purpose desires to be free and live through you via your thoughts, words, and deeds.

So this morning I want you to sit with these questions. Who are you? What do you desire? Why do you desire it? How will you get there? These are not questions to stress over. They are questions to grow into. Because when you begin to answer them honestly, you will not be finding yourself. You will be becoming yourself. And that is exactly what you were created to do.

You are not lost. You are waiting on yourself to find your way back to yourself.
