Press Release: Hospice of Davidson County to Host Annual Golf Tournament

Teeing Up Care When It Matters Most

Hospice of Davidson County will host its annual golf tournament Thursday, April 16 at Sapona Golf, Swim and Tennis Club.

The community-focused event will bring together local businesses, supporters and golf enthusiasts for a day of camaraderie and friendly competition while “Teeing Up Care When It Matters Most.”

Proceeds from the tournament support clinical care and support services for individuals facing serious illness as well as grief counseling, veteran recognition programs and community education initiatives. As a nonprofit organization, Hospice of Davidson County relies on community support to continue serving patients and families.

“Our annual Golf Tournament is more than a day on the course,” said Ashley Milam, marketing manager for Hospice of Davidson County. “It is an opportunity for our community to come together in support of those navigating serious illness and the important decisions that accompany that journey. Every sponsorship and every player help ensure that compassionate care remains accessible to those who need it most.”

The tournament will feature a four-person, no-handicap Captain’s Choice format with morning and afternoon flights. Shotgun starts are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Participants will also enjoy on-course contests and the opportunity to compete for the event’s green jackets.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels and provide visibility for businesses while supporting care for individuals facing serious illness in the community. Player registration is also open.

For more information about sponsorship opportunities or to register a team, contact Ashley Milam, marketing manager, at 336-474-2087 or amilam@hospiceofdavidson.org. More information is also available at hospiceofdavidson.org/events.
