Tickets are on sale for the Thirty-Sixth annual Freedom Fund Banquet, honoring the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The banquet will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. on January 13, 2024 at Commons on the Green located at 200 Country Club Blvd in Lexington. The speakers for this year's banquet will be Thomas and Tina Wyatt, owners of T & T Counseling & Consultation Services.

The Lexington Barbecue Festival Sand Sculpture makes a monumental return
Throughout this week Davidson County will host two major food events that celebrate our Lexington style barbeque and the locally owned and operated restaurants that serve us daily.
This year’s campaign will run during the week of October 23rd-29th and feature specials ranging from burgers, sandwiches, chicken, seafood, craft beer and cocktails at participating restaurants, breweries, and bars in participating cities – Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Kernersville, Greensboro, High Point, Jamestown, Asheboro and Davidson County.
