After four dedicated cleanup missions, Keep Davidson County Beautiful has officially conquered the 10.9-mile stretch of Linwood-Southmont Road and they were thrilled to say: It’s DONE!
Today, HODC serves over 175 patients daily across residential homes, nursing homes, and skilled care facilities. The Hinkle Hospice House alone provides acute care for over 200 patients annually. Beyond patient care, more than 3,000 individuals annually receive grief and loss support through one-on-one counseling, group therapy and specialized programming.
The virtual primary care practice is designed for patients who do not need a high degree of hands-on, in-person care or who have busy lives and might travel frequently and want high quality, accessible primary care with a provider.
An initiative to end homelessness in Thomasville is planned for June 18th.
Help for veterans is available. V4L is hosting their 5th Annual Community Roundtable at the Davidson County Fire Rescue Squad located at 115 West 9th Avenue in Lexington, on June 8th from 1 p.m. until 3 pm.

The WellCare Block Party community initiative event has been postponed due to the weather. The new event date will be announced at a later time.

VA announced that all Veterans who were exposed to toxins and other hazards while serving in the military while at home or abroad will be eligible to enroll directly in VA health care beginning March 5, 2024.
