THOMASVILLE – Starting next week, N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will narrow lanes on a Davidson County road for several months for a bridge replacement. On July 26, crews will begin to replace the bridge on Smith Drive near Westwood Avenue with a culvert. Work is expected to be complete by May 31, 2022.
