The service will take place on Sunday, October 22nd at 2 pm at St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 100 E 1st Street, Lexington NC. The event is free and open to the general public.

The Board of Trustees of Davidson-Davie Community College has announced that three finalists have been selected in the search for the college’s next president.
This year’s campaign will run during the week of October 23rd-29th and feature specials ranging from burgers, sandwiches, chicken, seafood, craft beer and cocktails at participating restaurants, breweries, and bars in participating cities – Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Kernersville, Greensboro, High Point, Jamestown, Asheboro and Davidson County.

It has been a privilege to serve the city of Lexington as Mayor these past eighteen months and I would like to ask for your vote to serve another term to continue the tremendous momentum. Our City Council, under my leadership has had numerous positive announcements in the last year and a half that point toward an extremely positive future for Lexington.
In the 51 years I have lived in Lexington, I have never had reason to worry over the soundness of the financial affairs for the City of Lexington. But today, I have several good reasons for this exact worry, and my interest in being elected Mayor of Lexington is driven by the belief that my training and 50 years of leadership here in Lexington are badly needed for a more prosperous future.
