Bite Into Summer: Beers and Brats at The Depot This Saturday

It’s the kind of equation we can all get behind: Beers + Brats = A Perfect Saturday.

This Saturday, July 5, the Lexington Farmers Market is serving up a sizzling summer combo that brings together local craft beverages, fresh-off-the-grill brats, and a whole lot of community spirit. The market, located at 129 S Railroad Street, will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with vendors, samples, and plenty to sip and savor.

Thirsty? Let’s start there.
Guests can enjoy samples and purchase beverages from a roster of beloved local names:

  • Native Vines Winery, known for blending tradition with Indigenous grape varietals

  • Stardust Mead, with its honey-kissed pours

  • Goose & Monkey Brewhouse, bringing the hops

  • Bull City Ciderworks, with a crisp lineup of craft ciders

Hungry? The brats are hot and ready.
Vendors Klymer Ridge, Crossings, and Rocky Forge will be grilling bratwurst on-site for sampling—so bring your appetite and maybe a few napkins.

Of course, the market’s staple vendors will also be out in full force with a bounty of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, pastries, jams, breads, and more. Every product is grown, baked, or handmade by the vendors who power this vibrant community market.

Accessibility remains a top priority.
The market accepts SNAP EBT (food stamps) and offers a “Double Your Dollars” program to stretch grocery budgets further. For every SNAP dollar spent, customers receive $2 in market tokens, up to $20 per day, to use on food items and food-producing plants. Participants can swipe their EBT card with the market manager on duty.

Whether you come for the drinks, the food, or just a good morning out, this Saturday’s Beers + Brats event offers something for everyone.
